Description

The Factories Act 1948 was passed by the Labour government. It was passed with the intention of safeguarding the health of workers

This Act is to provide for fixing minimum rates of wages in certain employments to save labours from exploitation.

  • • Maintaining records as per Minimum Wages Act prescribed by Minimum Wages Act, 1948 Ministry of Labour & Employment.

  • Online application for new and renewal of licence
  • Yearly return filing and submission to concerned authorities

  • Correspondence and liaison work

Labour Welfare Fund Delhi Labour Welfare

  • Delhi Labour Welfare Fund Rules, 1997: These rules may be called the Delhi Labour Welfare Fund Rules, 1997.
  • Extent: They extend to the whole of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
  • They shall come into force from a date to be notified by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
  • Calculation of contribution and deposit along with Form ‘A’ within prescribed time as per the Act
  • Updating regarding new notifications and amendments issued by the Labour Department
  • Handling all assessments and inspections from the Labour Department, when required
  • Replying to notices and communication from the concerned authorities
  • Maintenance of all statutory registers and submission of forms required by the Labour Department
  • Payable Periodicity: Contributions are due on 30th June and 31st December
  • Submission Deadlines: Last date for submission is 15th July and 15th January respectively
